# EmGee Labs (emgeelabs.in) > We build software for you, or with you, and we find the talent for your team. An engineering studio that builds software to order and places vetted developers. This domain says what it does, how the work is bought, and how to reach it. We build software for you, or with you, and we find the talent for your team. What is on offer: contract engineering, and putting vetted developers in front of the businesses that need them. The team is in India and works in the client's timezone, including US hours. Contact: hi@emgeelabs.in. This apex domain is that statement, the nine kinds of work below, what they are built in, the three ways the work is bought, and an index of what has been published. Two products are on that index - kingshand, MIT licensed and public in full, and a restaurant management system shown on its own subdomain rather than published as code - and this website is public under the same licence. There is no application here, no login and no API. Every page is static HTML served as a file, readable with no JavaScript engine, and nothing on any page is fetched from a third party. Every subdomain serves its own llms.txt and robots.txt at its root, built to the same convention as this one. ## Services What EmGee Labs is engaged to build. The page shows these nine as labels; the sentences are here. There is no pricing on this domain: send a scope to hi@emgeelabs.in and it is quoted. - Custom software: software written for one business rather than bought off a shelf. - Web applications: the screens people use in a browser, the server behind them and the database under that. - Mobile apps: Android and iOS, with the server side they talk to. - APIs and microservices: a documented HTTP API over a system that has none, or a service lifted out of one too large to change safely. - Cloud and DevOps: build pipelines, environments, monitoring, and releases that are repeatable rather than remembered. - MVP development: the smallest version that answers the question being asked, built so the next version need not start over. - Legacy migration: changing software that is already running and cannot stop: tests first, then small reversible changes. - Maintenance and support: fixing what breaks and applying the security updates, on software we wrote and software we did not. - Developer placement: developers put in front of businesses that need them, with the code read first - vetting rather than supply. ## Technologies What the work is built in. This is the list rather than a ranking, and it says nothing about anything outside it - ask. Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, .NET, HTML5, CSS3, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SAP Spartacus ## How the work is bought Three engagement models. No rate, minimum engagement or team size is published, because none is settled - ask. - Hourly: ongoing help - maintenance, reviews, small changes - billed for the time used. - Fixed price: an agreed scope for an agreed price, once the scope is written down. - Dedicated team: a team working only on your product, billed monthly. ## Frequently asked - Pricing: quoted per engagement, in writing, before work starts. No rate card. - Starting: an email describing the work; questions back; then a first piece of work and what it would cost. That exchange is not billed. - Ownership: work a client pays for is the client's, stated in the agreement. Nothing built for a client is published here. - Timezone: EmGee Labs works in the client's timezone, including US hours. The team is in India (IST, UTC+5:30), 4.5 hours ahead of central Europe and 10.5 ahead of US Eastern. - Clients: startups and established companies alike; the deciding question is whether the problem is clear enough to make progress on. - Placement: vetting rather than supply. A recruiter matches the words on a CV; here the code is read first. - Evidence: kingshand, published in full under an MIT licence, and this website itself; both are readable in full. A restaurant management system designed and built by EmGee Labs is shown on its own subdomain, in real screens of it running rather than in code. Client work is under agreement and is not shown at all. ## Products What EmGee Labs has published under its own name. There are two: one published in full - the code, the design records and the tests - and one shown, in real screens of it running rather than in code. The second has no product name on this domain or its own: the name is not settled, so it is described rather than named. - [kingshand](https://kingshand.emgeelabs.in/): Windows tool that runs several Claude Code sessions at once, each worker in its own git worktree. Requires PowerShell 7 and Claude Code. - [kingshand llms.txt](https://kingshand.emgeelabs.in/llms.txt): What kingshand is, the exact install commands, and where its docs are. - [A restaurant management system](https://restro.emgeelabs.in/): QR-code ordering at the table with no account for the diner, a live kitchen queue, and the owner screens behind them. Described rather than named, and not a hosted service you can sign up for. ## This site - [Home](https://emgeelabs.in/): The nine kinds of work above, what they are built in, the products published, how the work is bought, and how to get in touch. - [llms-full.txt](https://emgeelabs.in/llms-full.txt): This whole page inlined as plain text, so nothing here needs the markup parsed. - [robots.txt](https://emgeelabs.in/robots.txt): All crawlers allowed. - [sitemap.xml](https://emgeelabs.in/sitemap.xml): Every page on this domain. - [LICENSE.txt](https://emgeelabs.in/LICENSE.txt): The MIT licence this site is published under, in full. ## Contact One address, read by a person. The team is in India and works in the client's timezone, including US hours. There is no contact form and no phone number on this site. hi@emgeelabs.in ## Source - [emgee-labs/emgeelabs-site](https://github.com/emgee-labs/emgeelabs-site): This site and every subdomain, in one repository. - [emgee-labs on GitHub](https://github.com/emgee-labs): The tools themselves, and where to open an issue.
